JUST ADDED ON 5/16 - WHEELER'S RAID / ANDERSON CROSSROADS, TN - 10 Spencer Cartridge Casings from a Burned Wagon B-WR001

A group of ten Spencer cartridge casings that were recovered along the Sequatchie River, near Powell's Crossroads in Marion County, Tennessee. These were found before 2002 and the provenance that came with them was that they were from a Confederate Raid conducted by General Joseph Wheeler on October 2nd, 1863. The provenance also noted that they came from the site of a burned wagon, Several of the casings show possible evidence of fire damage (I included a separate photograph of one of these). This is another inventory discovery. I acquired these before 2010. A provenance letter will be included.
