JUST ADDED ON 5/27 - THE BATTLE OF SHILOH - Nice Mushroomed Bullet - found in June, 1974
A nice example of a mushroomed fired bullet that was found on the battlefield of Shiloh in June of 1974. This bullet was in a large Pennsylvania collection of carefully identified relics that were recovered in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. The Battle of Shiloh, fought in April of 1862, was the first big battle in the Western Theater - it resulted in very heavy casualties. A provenance letter will be included.
