JUST ADDED ON 10/3 - MCPHERSON'S WOODS / THE BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG / RECOVERED BY SYDNEY KERKSIS - Eagle Cuff Button - Recovered in October, 1959
Out of stock
An eagle cuff button (15 mm - appears to be a Scovill back mark - damaged - broken on the edge) that was recovered by famous relic hunter, collector and author Sydney Kerksis in McPherson's (or Reynolds') Woods in October, 1959. This button was originally sold as a part of a group by the Horse Soldier in 2017 and a copy of the original provenance letter given by them will be included. You can see a photograph of the original handwritten note that Kerksis had with the relics in the photographs - BUT THIS NOTE IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS BUTTON. I will include my own provenance letter along with the copy of the Horse Soldier letter.
