JUST ADDED ON 5/9 - UNION 1862/1863 WINTER CAMPS / STAFFORD, VA. - Large Group of Suspender Buckles & Parts - Some Marked - with Original Label
A group of suspender buckles and parts - some with maker marks - that were recovered at the site of the 1862/1863 Union winter camps in Stafford, Virginia (probably recovered in the 1960s). These artifacts come out of the collection of William Reger who lived in Berks County, Pennsylvania and relic hunted at a variety of sites from the late 1950s to the mid 1970s. Reger carefully identified his artifacts with typed labels such as the one that is included with this group. A provenance letter will be included.
