A small piece of the lead sabot from an artillery shell (1 x 3/4 inch) that was recovered by a relic hunter in an area just west of Willoughby Run and Reynolds' Woods on the First Day's Battlefield at Gettysburg. This is the area where the golf course / country club was located (private property when recovered, with permission). A provenance letter will be included.
