A .58 caliber Gardner bullet that was recovered on a site along the Hunterstown Road in Gettysburg. This area was behind Confederate lines on July 2nd and July 3rd, so the site may have been the position of a Confederate picket post. There was also a cavalry battle fought in this area. The bullet was recovered between 2000 and 2003. A provenance letter will be included.
